Terms and Conditions

Delivery Policy

  1. Obag South Africa offers FREE delivery to anywhere in South Africa if your purchase is for R1400 or more.
  2. You can choose to have your order delivered to your door or you can choose to collect your order at one of the many “Pargo” points around South Africa (Click and Collect).
  3. Your order will be processed within 1 business day after payment has been made (orders will not be processed on weekends and public holidays) and your order will reach you in between 2 and 4 working days after it has been dispatched.
  4. If your order is less than R1400, the delivery costs will be for your own account and added to your final invoice when payment is done.
  5. Deliveries to your door will be charged at a flat rate of R130 excluding VAT to anywhere in South Africa and Pargo deliveries (Click and Collect) will be charged at R90 including VAT to any Pargo point in South Africa.

Returns and exchange Policy

Incorrect Product Delivered

  1. If we have delivered the incorrect product, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your incorrect order via email (returns@obag.africa) stating your order number and providing details of which product is incorrect.
  2. Please do not remove the product from its packaging, remove the tags or use the product in anyway.
  3. We will reply within 5 working days with instructions so that we can collect the incorrect product (delivery will be paid by Obag South Africa).
  4. Once the product is received and we can confirm that the product is unused and still in its original packaging, the correct product will be dispatched to you (delivery will be paid by Obag South Africa).
  5. In the event that the product is out of stock, you may choose a different product (if the cost of the product is not the same, we will either refund you the difference or you will need to pay in the difference) or alternatively we are happy to refund you in full.
  6. Refunds can take up to 7 working days.

Damaged Products

  1. If the products that you receive are damaged or faulty in any way, please notify us via email (returns@obag.africa) within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number as well as photos of the product which clearly shows the damage or factory fault.
  2. We will reply within 5 working days with instructions so that we can resolve the issue and replace the damaged product (delivery will be paid by Obag South Africa).
  3. Please note that products will only be replaced if received damaged or if they have a factory fault or defect. No products will be replaced if the damage was caused by wear and tear or washed incorrectly (please refer to the product label for washing instructions).
  4. In the event that the product is out of stock, you may choose a different product (if the cost of the product is not the same, we will either refund you the difference or you will need to pay in the difference) or alternatively we are happy to refund you in full for the damaged item.
  5. Refunds can take up to 7 working days.

Exchanges and refunds

  1. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please notify us via email (returns@obag.africa) within 7 days of receiving your order.
  2. Please do not remove the product from its packaging, remove the tags or use the product in anyway. Obag South Africa reserves the right to refuse any exchange or refund if this condition is not met.
  3. You may choose to either exchange the product for another product (if the cost of the product is not the same, we will either refund you the difference or you will need to pay in the difference) or we are happy to refund you in full for the products (delivery costs will not be refunded).
  4. If you choose to exchange your product for another product, the delivery costs of getting the product to us and sending the new product to you will need to be paid by you.
  5. If you choose to be refunded, the delivery costs of getting the product back to us will need to be paid by you.
  6. Refunds will only be processed after the product has been received by Obag South Africa and we can confirm that the product is unused and still in its original packaging.
  7. Refunds can take up to 7 working days.

Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.

Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for O bag South Africa via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by O bag South Africa separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility

Obag South Africa takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and O bag South Africa chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature,

Variation

Obag South Africa may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

  1. If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

  1. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
